Vectrus wins Spectrum Dependent Systems Data Synthesis Contract
Our Vectrus Engineering Team’s software development principles value individuals and interactions, customer collaboration and agile development to deliver working software that best fits customer needs. This approach helped Vectrus secure a contract with the Office of Naval Research (ONR) to provide proof-of-concept systems for advanced data sharing between previously stove-piped weapons and information systems. This synthesizes actionable information made possible by that data sharing. Under this contract, our team will be providing data-distribution over hybrid US Navy networks and advanced machine learning.
Vectrus Secures Year 4 of 5-Year Contract for Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Spectrum Management Next Generation (SM-NG)
Vectrus was awarded year 4 of a 5-year contract to provide engineering and technical services related to the electromagnetic spectrum compatibility, evaluation, and tactical decision aids including hardware, firmware and software tools. This effort creates a new generation of the US Navy’s Real Time Spectrum Operations (RTSO) tool for cognitive spectrum coordination by utilizing a modern art web-based, microservices architecture and state-of-the-art SecDevOps practices. The updated RTSO tool enables built in security and more rapid deployment. As part of this effort, Vectrus also provides direct support to the warfighters by supporting the fleet in using RTSO and ensuring their combat systems are ready to perform in the operational environment. Our Engineers provide Spectrum Engineering for the future US Navy combat systems and simulate electromagnetic (EM) interactions between combat systems and other Radio Frequency (RF) spectrum users.
Vectrus earns spot on Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Electromagnetic Assurance Center, Test & Evaluation (EMAC T&E)
Vectrus is a subcontractor to Booz Allen Hamilton to provide the Electromagnetic Effects Division's (B Department) electromagnetic Assurance Center (EMAC) with a full range of electromagnetic compatibility engineering support in Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Test, Evaluation, & Integration (TE&I) of new technologies for Department of Defense (DoD) Sea, Air, Land (SAL) platform environments. Vectrus will support the entire TE&I life cycle from developing 3-D CAD models of ship topside superstructures to perform Topside Integration Studies of Coverage and EM Interference, pre and post installation evaluations, and topside EMC certifications.
Vectrus wins Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Contract to Maintain Mission Support during COVID-19
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Vectrus was awarded a quick action delivery order to procure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The procurement of PPE as required by the Joint Program Executive Office – Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Directorate (JPEO-CBRND) was in support of the U.S. Army, Army National Guard (ARNG) and U.S. Army Reserves (USAR). COVID-19 disrupted the global supply chain and made PPE difficult to procure. Despite such challenges, Vectrus leveraged its Supply Chain to collaborate with our strategic suppliers, programs, customers, and cross-functional crisis management teammates to meet program and corporate PPE needs. During the procurement process, our team mitigated the influx of counterfeit goods, and avoided price gouging and other cost increases that have threatened the security of supply across the global marketplace. This effort highlights Vectrus’ global Supply Chain-as-a-Service capability. The Vectrus Supply Chain and Engineering & Digital Integration (EDI) teams responded to the request for proposal on the Joint Enterprise Research, Development, Acquisition and Production/Procurement (JE-RDAP) IDIQ Contract within 26 hours. Vectrus successfully delivered over 50,000 protective face shields, demonstrating unparalleled dedication and teamwork in uncertain and unpredictable times.
Engineering Team wins CENTAUR (Capabilities to Enable NBC Threat Awareness, Understanding and Response) Prototype Contract Extension
Vectrus recently won an extension for its work developing a Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CRBRN) Integrated Early Warning (IEW) software network prototype. The prototype’s success in integrating, transmitting, translating, analyzing and visualizing sensor data helps warfighters identify CBRN threats. As part of the extension, the Vectrus Engineering team will continue to develop its prototype, increasing situational awareness for its operators and leadership.
